{"id":736,"date":"2012-05-15T12:24:12","date_gmt":"2012-05-15T11:24:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/teamthing.com\/?p=736"},"modified":"2013-03-01T16:57:56","modified_gmt":"2013-03-01T16:57:56","slug":"embed-a-photo-album-inside-a-news-article","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/teamthing.com\/help-topics\/embed-a-photo-album-inside-a-news-article\/","title":{"rendered":"Embed A Photo Album Inside A News Article [Updated]"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Showing a photo gallery in your website pages or news articles is a simple process.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Every teamthing.com website contains a powerful media library which you can use to upload photos and images.<\/h4>\n<p>Using this media library you can group your photos into galleries and then show these galleries to your users in your news articles and pages.<\/p>\n<p>Follow the steps below to upload images, group them into galleries, and then insert these galleries into a new item.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Add or edit an Article where the Gallery is to be shown<\/h5>\n<p>First things first, we need decide where we want to show our gallery:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Just create a new post\/page (or edit an existing one).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Upload images to a new gallery<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Place the cursor in the editor text box where you want the gallery to be placed.<\/li>\n<li>On top of the editor text box you will see a number of buttons. Choose the &#8216;Add Media&#8217; button.<\/li>\n<li>A popup screen, showing your media library, will appear. On the left hand side of the screen there will be a &#8216;Create Gallery&#8217; menu option. Choose this menu option.<\/li>\n<li>The create gallery window will display two menu options at the top of the screen: &#8216;Upload&#8217; and &#8216;Media Library&#8217;. Choose the &#8216;Upload&#8217; option.<\/li>\n<li>Either drag an image from your system on to the area which says &#8216;Drop Files Here&#8217;, or, click the &#8216;Select Files&#8217; button and select the file you wish to upload.<\/li>\n<li>The image will be uploaded to your media library and automatically selected for inclusion into your new gallery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/teamthing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/upload_new_media1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1314\" alt=\"upload_new_media\" src=\"http:\/\/teamthing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/upload_new_media1.jpg\" width=\"543\" height=\"373\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>Create and insert the gallery<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>When you have selected all the images you wish to insert into your gallery click the &#8216;Create New Gallery Button&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Review the settings for your gallery and click the &#8216;Insert Into Post&#8217; button.<\/li>\n<li>Publish your changes and view the published article on your website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>N.B.
